Impacting the orphans of Haiti by changing lives through God's Word.

OUR MISSION:

Hands of Friendship desires to glorify God in various ministries. If it is serving peo- ple at home or in Haiti. It is our desire to further God’s kingdom and to Glorify Him. (Romans 11:34-36)

While you are in Haiti, you will help run the Vacation Bible School (VBS) by sharing a Bible Study, helping get crafts together, and games with the children. We also do medical clinics that you will help at different stations. You might help pass out medicine, giving eye drops, passing out gifts, or praying with the patients. We might also have building projects that we are working on with which we can help. Each trip is different

Which town is Hands of Friendship Missions located?

How did Hands of Friendship Missions get started in Archaie?

What is the age range of the children in the orphanage?

We are located in Archaie. About 45 minutes NW of Port au Prince, a beautiful spot right between the mountains and the ocean.

We recently travelled to Archaie to check out the location Manno told us about. We were very excited to see what God had in store for us. When we arrived, the children greeted us with songs and hugged us. We were able to do a couple Vacation Bible Schools with the children. They were so well behaved and needless to say, we fell in love with them and the place. We are now working to continue building to house the children. We need your help. Contact us to learn more. If you would like to donate, please click here.

The age of the children ranges from infant to 17 years old.

What about those children that grow too old for the orphanage?

We want to be able to help train those children so they are able to take care of themselves and get a job. They would be allowed to stay at the orphanage and help with younger children. We want to help them start their life on the right path.

How do you overcome the language barrier?

The language barrier can be difficult. Each time we visit Haiti, we learn more words. We have excellent interpreters that not only help us communicate with other Haitians, but they also take care of all our needs and we are so blessed to have them in our lives. Hands of Friendship Missions supports three guys:  Manno, St. Louis, and Dr. Paul. They are our hands and feet while we are in Haiti and also continue the ministry even when we are not there.
